I’ve been quite into apéritif drinks lately.
This is The Bittersweet, which I modified using Cynar and Orange Flower Water instead of Campari and Rose Flower Water.
Stir to combine:
- 1 oz. Cynar (an Italian apéritif/bitter, more herbal than Campari)
- 1.5 oz. Sweet Vermouth (I used Carpano Antica Formula)
- 2 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
- .5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Dash orange flower water (optional)
Rim glass with superfine sugar, add Orange slice for garnish (optional).
