Improved Holland Gin Cocktail

Happy Friday! Another cocktail to kick the weekend off.

Ever since Dinah and Joe mixed us some lovely drinks with Bols Genever back in November, we’ve been wanting a bottle of our own. Now that we have some, I have finally been able to mix up some true classics (and twists on them).

Improved Holland Gin Cocktail (via

  • 2 shots of genever
  • 3 dashes rich sugar syrup (I used Agave syrup)
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 dash dry orange curacao liqueur (I used Cointreau)

Shake; wet the rim of a coupe with a lemon slice and discard; spray, rim, and drop a lemon peel (I used an orange peel).
